He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Robert J. II Marybeth, Carl Patti, Dale Marilyn, and Mark Mary Van Singel; brothers, Willard Jo, Harris Connie, Gordon Tena Van Singel; sister, Janet Elzinga; sisters-in-law, Katherine Gene Page, Henriette Molenkamp, Betty Korf; special friend, Grace Veeneman; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to all past and present staff at Railside Living Center for their past 12 years of care and concern, and to Hospice.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 26, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home 2067 - 84th SW, Byron Center. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Cook Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Kuiper officiating.
