Roger was such an example to us all on how to live a life glorifying to God. I feel truly blessed to have known him and felt his generosity over my 40 years. He will be greatly missed, but he is rejoicing with God in Heaven now. I am sure even in death more lives will be won for Jesus through his testimony.

Joy and Family, I am not sure if you remember me but I worked for Berghorst Poultry back in 1982 to 1984. I left in July of 1984 to have my first child. I would like to express by deepest sympathy to your entire family on the loss of Roger, he was a great boss and a wonderful family person. Please pass my condolenses on to Jerry and the as well and tell him I said Hello. I lost my mother 1 1/2 years ago and she was my rock since I never knew my father, I never thought my pain would get better. It will never go away but it has gotten better and I will always remember that she is not suffering anymore and she is a good place. Take care and keep family close.

Joy & family, We were sad when you called to tell us Tuesday, but find comfort in knowing Rog loved our Lord and is free of the awful pain. Ver Lee Family, My condolences for your family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I only had the pleasure of meeting Roger once but he gave me a memory that will last forever. My brother Larry McMillan, works for your family at Freightliner. He had mentioned to Roger that I am an equestrian and Roger gave us a personal tour of the stable and let me ride one of your Paso Finos. I ride hunter jump and it was quite a change. It was incredibly generous of him to share his time the horses with me. The experience stayed with me and when I returned to my home in florida I located a Paso Fino ranch and began taking lessons. I am so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. He was a fine man and I feel very fortunate to have known him. I don't remember anyone else that I respected and looked up to more than I did him. It was a pleasure working for him, even though it was only for just under five years. My sympathy to the entire family.

Though I didn't know Roger long, I'm thankful for the short time I knew him. It was extremely encouraging to see a strong Godly man, not just in word, but in everyday life - even at a horse stable. His strong, quiet, positive attitude was inspiring. I'm so glad to have meet and been around him.
