Ron was preceded in death by his wife and friend, Beatrice Marie; his parents John and Mildred Van't Hof; brother, Gordon Van't Hof; mother and father-in-law William R. and Cora Pike VanDerBos; and brother-in-law, William R. VanDerBos. He will be deeply missed by his daughters Cindy (Doug) Wabeke and Tammy (Jeff) Beswick; grandchildren Zack (Steph) Beswick, Adam (Anna-Mae) Beswick, Ethan Beswick (Onika), and Mallory Beswick (Hayden); sister, Cheryl (Gary) Schadler; sisters-in-law Helen Van't Hof and Shirley VanDerBos; nieces, nephews, great-grandsons, and many wonderful friends.
Ron will be remembered as a loving husband, and a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. Ron enjoyed his many years as a draftsman at Wolverine Building Products. He then was fortunate enough to start his own business, Engineered Metals Inc., with his lifetime friend and business partner, Dick Bryant. He and Bea had a great time building their cottage at Gifford Lake with the help of family and friends. They had even more fun celebrating life at the lake in the company of friends and family, laughing and relaxing. In his golden years, Ron enjoyed his Wednesday breakfast group, reunions with the South High, Underhill, and Grand Valley Hill friends, and spending time with his daughters and family.
In lieu of a visitation or memorial service (Covid restrictions), at Ron's request, the immediate family will hold a private service prior to his interment at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Ron's family welcomes one and all to share memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresgrandville.com.

Ron's farewell to each of you would be this traditional Irish blessing.
