Ronald Kenneth Woodburn Sr., age 92, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 10, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Dorothea Woodburn; wife of 63 years, Margaret Woodburn; and siblings Nancy DeJong, Gary Woodburn, and Linda Corcoran. He will be lovingly remembered by Ronald Jr. and Cindy Woodburn, Patricia and Dave Medaris, Kenneth and MaryJane Woodburn, Kathy and Duane Garber, and Richard Woodburn; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; siblings Larry and Rachel Woodburn and Marilyn Heilman; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He first enlisted in the Army at age 16 and then became a munitions specialist in the Air Force. He enjoyed jewelry making, coin collecting, and stamp collecting. He also enjoyed fishing, especially with his children and grandchildren. Ronald was a certified gemologist. He worked over 30 years as a tool and die maker at Reynolds Aluminum. To his friends he was known as “Woody.”
