So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers to the whole family. I only knew Rose for a short time, and only spoke with her on the phone numerous times, but she was always incredibly helpful and friendly. Heaven has gained an angel and I'm sure she will be looking down and smiling on her friends and family.

Rose started out as my boss, but she became a dear friend and "adopted sister". She constantly amazed me with her ability to overcome adversity. She survived so much, yet she was not bitter or cynical. Instead, she had a huge heart, a fantastic sense of humor (she laughed at my jokes), and a determination to always be better. I admired and looked up to her. She was a precious source of advice and guidance to me in so many ways, but she was never a "know-it-all". Whenever I hit a snag, I think, "how would Rose cope with this?" Though I will miss her terribly, I will keep the lessons she taught me close to my heart. I am honored to have been her friend.

I met Rose 9 years ago when we both were working for Coldwater Creek. We were "troublemakers" from the start, and never looked back. Sharing one fun story;we were both in Idaho for a mgr.meeting. We went to a lake, and were enjoying the scenery, when this gaggleof geese camezooming up on us. I starttaking pictures,and they start chasing Rose. I have never laughed so hard. We had plenty of laughs, and I will see you soon Roswil! --Eveleo

Rose was such a good friend from the start when I met her at work. We had many things in common as we began talking. So many good times with our children and so many laughs together. Eventhough our lives got busy and we lost touch, I often thought of Rose and the kids. We had just reconnected through facebook and we never got that chance to get together again. I will miss you Rose and I am so sorry we didn't get that chance. So many good memories with you. You were a wonderful friend.

Like Vicki, Rose was my "boss" @ CWC too. In a short amount of time our relationship developed more into a mentor and student, then later to a friend and friend. She was there when I needed advise or help with a personal or work related issue. I learned much about life and retail from her. :) When my father passed she was one of the first to reach out to me and offer console and advice. Even tho We lost touch over the last 4 years once she left CWC, she was always with me at the store in one way or another, whether it was a funny situation or more serious. As much as my heart is breaking I can only grasp at your families grief. I very much hope you can find comfort in the stories, prayers and thoughts that we, her friends, and co-workers - are offering up.

I had the great pleasure of working with Rose at Banana Republic, and then following her leave as manager at CWC. Rose and I did not always agree or see eye to eye, but with her amazing smile and laugh and her huge heart, at the end of the day nothing else mattered but for the fact that she was everyone's friend and a "mom" to many of the younger employees-she was even called Momma Rose sometimes. Many people come in and out of our lives, but the ones who made a difference are the ones we don't forget, and Rose made a difference in mine and in the lives of anyone who worked with her. 
 I briefly ran into her while she was getting her hair done at the Panopoulos Salon in Byron Center on a day I just happened to be there doing some training. Her same great smile, her same great laugh....and I will keep that memory tight in my heart. 
 Anyone who worked with Rose also knew very well that she loved her family with all her heart. My deepest condolences to Rose's family, as I know she is a treasure and I am so lucky to have had the chance to have crossed her path.
