Russell Wesley Haney

HANEY - Russell Wesley Haney, age 59 of Grandville, passed away April 7, 2001 and went to be with his Lord. Mr. Haney was a member of the Neil Fonger VFW Post and the Cassard American Legion Post #208. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Russell was preceded in death by his father Kent Haney. He is survived by his ex-wife Patricia; three daughters, Kathy Robert Knight, Michelle Daryl Henney, Becky Haney; and one son Adam Sandy Haney; nine grandchildren. Also surviving are his mother Mary Stedman; one brother Kenneth Haney; one niece and three nephews; special friend Charlie Viki Johnson; and many other family and friends. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie St. SW in Grandville, with Rev. Norman Riksen of St. Pius X Catholic Church officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home west building.
