On Thursday, October 20, 2022, Sara Vruggink Haynes passed away at the age of 38. She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Vruggink; grandparents James Zylstra, Sally Zylstra, and Karl Vruggink. She is survived by her husband, Alan Haynes; daughter, Brianna Lemke; James Lemke – father of Brianna; mother, Christina Fifield; stepfather, Kevin Fifield; stepmother, Roxanne Vruggink; brothers Kyle Vruggink and Zachary Weemhoff; brother-in-law, Steve Haynes; sister-in-law, Susan Haynes; grandmothers Barb Burns and Fran Vruggink; stepbrothers Andrew (Tilar) Fifield, Joshua Fifield, Tyler Fifield; stepsister, Alexis Demaar; aunt, Vicki (Rick) Sweet; step -aunts and -uncles Scott (Tammy) Glupker, Rod (Liz) Glupker, and Todd Glupker; nephews Ethan and Thomas Vruggink.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to service.
