Sidney DeVries

DEVRIES Sidney DeVries, age 93, of Byron Center, went home to be with his Lord, Thursday, April 2, 2015. Sidney was born in Billings, Montana on December 28, 1921 to John and Elizabeth (VanderVeen) DeVries. Sidney was very outgoing and loved landscaping, while being very active as choir director and singing with his brother in a quartet.

Surviving are his wife, June; children, Mark DeVries, Sid DeVries (Jennifer Murphy), and Jan (Russell) VanWyk; grandchildren, Harper DeVries, Trevor DeVries, Brian Russel VanWyk; brother and sister, Rich (Bev) DeVries, and Sena (Vern) VanHeinigan; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 1 PM Friday, April 10, 2015 at Cook Funeral Home - 2067 84th St, Byron Center, MI, with visitation prior to the service beginning at 12 PM.
