We want to express our heart-felt sympathies to you and your family, Tonya.  We have such precious memories of our connections with you and yours at Grace Church.  Also, you, your dear sister Danielle, and sweet mom Carol helped make the days we were together at West Kelloggsville School Kindergarten a highlight in my memories. (Al Miiller sent us a copy of the paper handed out at the Worship Service in Celebration of the Resurrection to Eternal Life of Stephen at Grace Church.)  We are 80 and 82 years old now and living in independent-living at Lutheran Haven Retirement Center in Oviedo, Florida, (next to Orlando).

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Tonya, Andriu,Taylor and Jeremy, John and Barb and all of our Families. Steve loved his Family and always kept them first and foremost in his mind. I remember John telling me of his breakfast visits...it was something he and John shared. I thought it was sweet and at times right on time. He loved and was loved. I will always remember my Nephew who always looked so serious but was one of the funniest guys you could know. Rest in Peace Steve....

May you rest in peace, Steve.  May God bless all who have this loss.  Especially for Tonya, Steve's children, parents and siblings.  Losing a loved one at such a young age is so hard. 

I have fond memories of playing in weekly pickup basketball games at local school gyms with Steve, Jacob and others.  Steve was clearly the dominate one on the court!  Now it is time for Steve to do the same on heaven's court!

Starting a few years back Steven would randomly stop by early in the morning bringing with himself a dozen eggs, a pound of bacon, and hash browns. You see, he knew I was an early riser. I would say to him don't you have to work? He would always say Dad, I stopped by the stores I needed to stock and tomorrow I can catch up. We would sit down at the dining room table talking about the grand kids or the world in general. We didn't solve any world problems but it was fun and good to just talk. I would get out my two biggest fry pans and start the potatoes and the bacon. When those were done it was time to fry the eggs. I treasured those moments, just me and my Kiddo! I'm going to miss you and these moments as well as the many others. I love you my son!!!!!!! Although you are now gone I will see you again up there in heaven.
