Taylor Jo Russell, age 27, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Kenneth and Josephine Russell. She is survived by her beautiful daughter, Emarie, whom she loves to the moon and back, and her father, Dillion; parents Roger and Tammy Russell; siblings Nicole (Scott) Grifhorst, Jordan (Jonelle) Russell, and Zach Russell; nieces and nephews Axton, Bennett, Remy, and Hazel Grifhorst; grandparents Mary Hall and Larry (Trudy) Hall; and many, many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Taylor loved her whole family and friends fiercely. Her daughter, Emarie, was her entire world and she brought Taylor the much needed laughter, joy, and cuddles she has needed since she gave birth to her five years ago. To know Taylor was to love her. She could always make you laugh no matter the circumstance and could light up a room with her beautiful smile. Taylor suffered a massive stroke in 2017 and fought many battles for the past four years. She was brave, courageous, strong, and she never ever gave up. Although she was taken from us way too soon, Taylor is now healed and whole again.
After Taylor was diagnosed with lupus, she came up with the term “Forever Strong." She was ready to fight whatever came her way. She continued with this motto after her massive stroke. When she started talking again after her stroke, Taylor would refer to “Forever Strong." She will be forever remembered for her strength. Taylor always had a love for dance. We are all imagining her with full use of her body dancing in heaven.
