Ted was my hero growing up in Home Acres,as a wanna be athlete, I was always hanging around the Baseball Diamond and Football Fields. I really appreciated how he lived his life, and also how he had such a great impact in the Gospel Music business, I was always going to hear his group in concert and had all their records and CDs Rick his son had a huge impact as he helped me coach baseball for 15 years, in many ways he was like his Dad in that he always was an encourager to Park Baseball Players, Our prayers to Bonnie as we lift you up in the days and weeks to come, God's Blessings to all the Conrad Family Coach E and Barb

"Integrity, selfless, ethical, spiritual, generous, inspirational, persuasive, compassionate, determined, uncompromised and optimistic". Just a few words that describe the type of man Ted Conrad was to me. A mentor to me both professionally and spiritually, I will always remember and value the life lessons I've learned through knowing him. Ted and Bonnie were Nick and I's very first lawn care clients. I can remember riding our bikes to their home on wedgewood, and using their gas and lawn mower to cut the lawn. We would swim in the pool afterwards to cool down. So many great memories. Our thoughts and Prayers are with the entire Conrad family. May you all be at peace in knowing he's finally home with his lord and savior. Ted Conrad - Truly a life worth celebrating!

As a young man, playing football for Coach Ted was an experience that prepared me for life...character, integrity, hard work, winning the right way, developing relationships, giving the glory to God, and learning that winning is fun. Mr Ted and Mrs. Conrad served as our Master and Mistress of Ceremonies and we could not have chosen a better exemplary couple of what marriage is to be. We shall miss him deeply. Even though time passes, the love this family exudes to everyone they know and meet is something to behold and...cherish the memories? This we surely do! Ted was one of the most amazing people I have been blessed to have ever known...(my whole life!) He was always such a kind person. When I was about 10 or so years old I had to do an interview with someone that was an inspiration to me for a school project. I picked Ted and my mom took me to his office for the interview. I got an "a" on the work! (About the only "a" I ever got :). Ted was an inspiration to all that have met him! My parents have considered Bonnie and Ted to be their best friends for 50 years! So sorry to hear of Mr. Ted's passing. He was easily one of the most influential people in my young life when I lived in Wyoming, MI and still have and listen to all of his Heralders' music on my Ipod to this day. Thank you Conrads for sharing him with all of us. God Bless and Succotash!!!!!

Dear Bonnie and family, We were saddened to learn about Ted's passing. We are sorry we did not see the paper in time to attend the service. Cypress street was a great place to raise a family. Mr. Ted truly was someone I looked up to and could use as an example in the way to live my life. What great times we all had playing football and baseball for him back in the Huntington Woods days.  Our deepest sympathies to all of you. We are praying that God will grant each of you peace as you trust in Him through this difficult time. We greatly appreciated Ted's singing and were blessed many times through God's use of his talents. I do wish we would have been able to see you and express this in person at the funeral home. We did not find out about Ted's death until yesterday. Dear Conrad Family, I too have many fond memories of growing up in the Woods, as your neighbors, including Nan and I riding in the Heralder's bus to an evening show, cheerleading at those Saturday morning football games, playing house in your family station wagon, and building the summer forts in your backyard or the woods. My sincerest sympathy to each of you and prayers that our Lord's amazing grace and peace will comfort you during this difficult time. Dear Conrad Family, Coach meant so much to me and I'm sure all of the guys who played football for him at Calvin Christian would agree. He was so much more than a coach. He was one of the three mentors in my life that truly made an impact. He taught the importance of teamwork and leadership like nobody else. His energy, optimism, and kindness were over the top. Now as an adult and business owner I fully understand the sacrifices he made to be our coach. I thank God that He placed Coach in my life when He did. His life lessons will continue for generations. My sympathy to each of the family members.
