Terry R. Wright, age 83 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 25, 2021. Terry was recently preceded in death by his wife, Carol Charon Wright. He is survived by his brother, Tracy (Dee) Wright. He will be greatly missed by his children Kenneth Wright, Laura (Darrell) Vernon, and Tammy (Tom) Stevens; as well as blended family members Mark Charon (Esther) and Jeff (Laura) Charon; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In his younger years, Terry was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. He also enjoyed wood carving, and especially loved carving ducks and various species of birds.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. The family will greet visitors from 10-11 a.m. with the memorial service immediately following.
