Theodore "Ted" Braybrook

BRAYBROOK Theodore "Ted" Braybrook, age 84, died, Saturday, June 13, 2015. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Susan Donahue and Kathy Syrek. Ted will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 62 years, Clara Jo Braybrook (Price) and his brother, Roger Braybrook and his wife Sue. Ted was sincerely loved by his surviving children, Daniel Braybrook, Lynn Braybrook Roelofs and her husband Randy, Julie Phillips, Jeffrey Braybrook and his wife Lisa, Lisa White and her fiancAC. Shannon Veltema, and Kurt Braybrook; his grandchildren, Leah (Jon) Dubbs, Neil Braybrook, Hope and Holly Roelofs, Kelly (Lance) VanHooren, April (Clayton) Brenner, Kimberly, Jefferson Theodore, Seth and Tessa Braybrook, Tyler and Alaina White; and his fve great grandchildren.

Ted was dedicated to his country and enlisted in the US Army at age 19 to serve during the Korean War. He worked for over 40 years at Gear Research. Ted enjoyed water skiing, scuba diving and flying as a private pilot as hobbies throughout his life.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Ted's family will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 PM with a Vigil service beginning at 7:30 PM on Thursday at Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (west building). Funeral mass will be held 11 AM Friday, June 18, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave. SW in Grandville, with visitation prior to the service beginning at 10 AM Friday. Father Chris Rouech will be presiding. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
