I have many memories of Ted during our days at Grand Valley and they're all good ones. We had a lot of fun and when I think about them it always makes me feel good and brings a smile to my face. I remember when Ted fell head over heals with a pretty girl named Sue, I believe he fell in love when he first met her. Ted was very proud of Sue and later when Ted and I reconnected he would tell me about his two little girls and how happy he was to be a dad. Ted was a special guy and we'll all miss him. Sue and the rest of the Dongvillo family I'm sorry for you loss. Will Roach friend and teammate of Ted.

Sue, we are heartsick for you and want you to know how sincerely saddened we are to hear of Ted's passing. Sue and Family, I am truly sorry to hear about Teds passing, our condolences. I remember Ted's jubilant smile and personality. I'm glad he was able to participate in the GV Football Alumni golf outing last summer. What a great group to be associated with and Ted was certainly a key member. It was a pleasure to catch up on the years gone by.

 Sorry to hear the news about Ted. Theo and I go back a long way. Shared a lot of great times when we were younger. Theo liked to talk about his girls and especially about his grandson these past few years. He really fought a strong battle against his terrible disease. I'm so glad we stayed in touch over the years and will miss him. I will certainly miss all of his optimism when his Lions play my Packers from now on. Sent with love and prayers.

To the Dongvillo family, I am sorry to hear of Teds passing. We were close in high school. I will remember all the time playing football together and the many hours we spent running pass routes, and the times we hunted on the family farm. Seems like we had a few exciting jeep rides through the ordchards together. Ted sure did love to have fun. To the entire Dongvillo family, my heart sunk when i heard of Ted's passing. Ted was my closest friend in high school as we spent many hours together in the jeep and on the basketball court. He was like a brother to me and we had great times together in pregame meals, times at the beach and the best time with each others families. We know that God causes all things to work together for good, and we trust that God's grace will sustain all of you and know that our prayers are with you. I was so shocked to hear of Ted's passing! I remember Ted as a great guy, a guy that I really liked a lot. Dear Sue and Family,
 I had the great privilege to block for Teddy at GVSU while he was a wide receiver and I an O-lineman. Together we learned not only about football and how to become men. Ted was the guy who always came back to the huddle with a smile on his face loving each down he got to play. I will always remember that about him. He played every down with a smile on his face and this persona is what I believe helped him fight his pancreatic cancer so long and valiantly. May God bless you and your family with His precious gift of memory to keep him always there with you when the dark days come. 
 I know I now have another team mate of mine in heaven blocking for me. I will see you Teddy in the Father's House. Save me a spot in the huddle!
