We haven't done it in a long time, but we think about it often. The days our 2 families would get together and go to a park to cookout and let the kids run and play, while we adults would catch a moment of peace and eat great foods. Just because we have drifted, and these events have not happened for some time, they are good memories, and the memories I will choose to remember you!

I remember you mostly as a kid, your bubbly personality, your smiles and giggles. Seems like forever ago, and maybe it was. Extended family is so important when were kids, and then life happens, we get busy and wrapped up with our own households. I also remember our sons playing basketball against each other, Holy Trinity VS Immanuel, always an intense friendly competition. It was a lot of fun too. That seems like years ago as well! You will be missed Thresa very very much. To Jerry and the kids, to Uncle Bob, to Robin, to Doris and all of Thresa's family, our deepest condolences to you. Thresa once wrote me a poem many years ago. I wanted to share a memory, but didn't quite know what to say. I felt like there were no words that would help in any way. She inspired me, though, to honor her in the same way.
 Thresa: kind, gentle, heart of gold. We never truly know why God gives us burdens seemingly to heavy to hold. Sorrows too deep to comprehend. So often we are left to just ask why. Thresa: kind, gentle, heart of gold. How we wish you were not too weary to have grown old.
 Thresa: Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Friend. These roles, I know, have not come to an end. Of this I am certain because each of us will cherish your memory until the end. And then, my friend, we shall meet again. Because one thing for sure is that God has a Plan. You could not rest here on earth, but now you can.
 Thresa: an Angel now walking with us from Above. Watching over her children, husband, mom, dad, sisters and the rest of us with her love.
 Thresa: kind, gentle, heart of gold. No matter the time or distance that kept us apart, I will always cherish her friendship, and she will always hold a special place in my heart.
 Jeremy, Christine, Jacob, Joshua, Jerry, Doris, Bruce, Robert, Robin, Sarah, and the rest of Thresa's family, you are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.

Words can not convey how terribly sorry we are for your loss. I had not seen or talked to Thresa in a long time, but we had some really great fun when we were kids. I wish I could be there during this difficult time but unfortunatley my family and I are out of town. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
