Tracy Roberts

She was preceded in death by her father Marv Hiddema.

She is survived by her children Ryan (Jessica) Roberts, Jason (Megan) Roberts, and Lisa (Paul) Lomasney; grandchildren Ryder, Kaeda, Emmerson, Quinn, Breckon, Ellery, and Kipton; mother, Myrt Hiddema; siblings Randy (Eve) Hiddema, Carla (Larry) Chamberlain, Torry (Barri) Hiddema, and Ginger (Dan) Van Malsen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tracy Lane Hiddema Roberts received her angel wings that were so well deserved with her children at her side. Ralph Waldo Emerson said "The purpose of life... is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have made some difference that you have lived and lived well." Tracy fulfilled her life's purpose. Tracy was a mother that loved without end, showered her children and grandchildren with praise, and always got back up when life knocked her down. She loved her family as a whole but also loved each child and grandchild individually for their own personalities and interests. People will remember Tracy in many ways: a kind child, a straight-A student, a good friend, a lover of books, a helping hand in her children's classrooms, a passionate educator, a loving daycare provider, a friendly voice on the other end of the phone. Her family will remember her most as being the biggest fan of their lives, spending her time behind the camera instead of in front, documenting all moments of their lives that made her so proud. Now Tracy is every star in the sky, every chill when a gentle breeze kisses a tear, and every winter night fire that warms the soul. She will be unimaginably missed in body but forever embraced in spirit.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. S.W., Grandville, MI 49418, with visitation from 5-7 p.m. prior to service.

In honor of Tracy and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grandville Educational Foundation.
