
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bill Katip.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Ann M. Skelly and Sharlyn Katip; and her son Michael Lisa Katip; her three grandchildren, Lance Michael Allison Skelly, Lisa Marie Skelly, and Shawn Katip; two great grandchildren, Jacob Skelly and Caroline Grace Skelly; her brother Ben Maksymowski; her sisters, Jessy Brown, Rosey Fred Mulbrecht and Helen Ted Ojczenasz; her sister-in-law, Marie Yeggie; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, from Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin St. in Jenison.
Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
The family will meet with relatives and friends on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 1889 Baldwin St in Jenison.
A prayer vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
