Vivian Lois Zandbergen (DeBoer)

ZANDBERGEN Vivian Lois (DeBoer) Zandbergen, age 85, was welcomed to her heavenly home on Thursday, the 24rd of January, 2013, after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer's disease and her mind is now restored and renewed. She is reunited with her husband, Eugene, who she dearly missed, her sister, Doris Poll, brother John DeBoer, and caring neighbor, Art Brower. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Marcia Goodrich, in-laws Don (Carol) Zandbergen and Vina Helder; children Gary (Bette) Zandbergen, Pam (Jim) Doorn, Jerry (Lynn) Zandbergen, Gene (Denise) Zandbergen, Vickie (Tim) Poel, Terry Zandbergen; grand-children Stacey (Matt) Nederveld, Lisa (Kevin) Bosch; Jason, Brandon, Kevin, Kaitlyn Zandbergen; Joshua, Audra, Rebecca Poel; five great grandchildren, and a loving friend, Marilyn (Gus) DeBaets.

Vivian was a long-time member of First Reformed Church of Grandville. She had a love for bowling, solitaire and chocolate. She retained her love and ability for singing hymns up until the end. The family wishes to thank the staff of Raybrook / Holland Home for their long-term care.

Memorial visitation with the family will be held from 5 - 8pm, Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building) 4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville. Interment will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens. In honor of Vivian, contributions may be made to Holland Home Benevolent Fund or Faith Hospice.
