Warren R. Kuipers

KUIPERS - Warren R. Kuipers, age 79 of Wyoming, passed away courageously and peacefully with his family by his side Monday, July 31, 2000 and is now in the presence of his Lord. He was a beloved and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his beautiful and cherished wife of 51 years, Iolene, father and mother, Gerrit and Bessie Kuipers and brother, Bill Kuipers. Surviving are his children, Janis Scott Centille, Robert Laura Kuipers, Marcia Tom Petersen; his grandchildren, Kim Tony DePagter, Corey, Cassie and Caleb Kuipers, David Jan Petersen, Paul Petersen and Tina Perry; two great grandchildren; his sister Dorothy Hurley; special nephew Gary Vicki Hurley and other nieces and nephews. Warren was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean War and an avid University of Michigan fan. He touched the lives of many people and his strong and unique presence will be deeply missed.

A private Memorial Service will be held for immediate family members. A tribute and celebration of Warren's life will be announced at a later date.

The family request memorial contributions are made to the American Lung Association or Hospice of Michigan.
