
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth A. DeYoung Dix; his children, Susan Dix and her partner, Charles Powell of Jamestown, John and Renee Dix of Jenison, Martha and Michael Persak of Jenison; his grandchildren, Katherine, Michael and Mary Persak, Megan, Madeline and Hannah Dix; his sister, Mary Louise Holdson; his sister-in-law, Mary and Martin Story.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Grandville United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Pier-Fitzgerald officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Memorial contributions to United Methodist Committee on Relief. Visitation 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Grandville Chapel of Cook Funeral Home 4235 Prairie - west building and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday prior to the service.
