William Elling

ELLING - William Elling, age 89 of Jenison, passed away June 27, 2001, and went to be with his Lord. Mr. Elling was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie; two granddaughters, Dawn Hibbler and Brenda Elling; three brothers, Bert, Lee and Garrit Elling; one brother-in-law, Ben Woltjer.

William is survived by one daughter, Wilma John VanDyk; three sons, Don Marge Elling, Rich Mary Elling and Dale Jan Elling; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Nancy Woltjer, Betsy Ted Woltjer; five sisters-in law, Ann, Jean and Trace Elling, Kate George Jager, Ann John Woltjer; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at the Cook Funeral Home - Jenison, 1889 Baldwin St., with Rev. Kenneth Koole of Faith Protestant Reformed Church officiating. Interment Georgetown Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home - Jenison.
