Wilma M. Boone

BOONE - Wilma Marie Boone age 81, of Kentwood passed away May 30, 2000 and went to be with her Lord. She is preceded in death by her husband John Boone; brother William C. Betts Jr. and grandson David A. Hodge.

Mrs. Boone was a member of three senior centers and the Northeastern American Legion Unit 450. She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Lawrence Hodge of Ionia, Judy Don Jones of Grand Rapids; five grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; brother Carl Betts Sr. of Danville, KY; sister Lela Kunkel of Grand Rapids and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday 1:30 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie St SW with Pastor Ted Porter of Resurrection Life Church Officiating. Interment Reynolds Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home - Grandville west building.
