Winifred "Winnie" Grinwis

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Norman Grinwis; parents; two brothers and one sister; numerous in-laws; and three grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Lou Ann (Ray) Patrick, Kris (Steve) Bruinsma, and Sue (Jeff Shugers) Zandbergen; five grandchildren Erica (Rob) De Mott, Michelle (Troy) DeKleine, Emilee (Andy) Schultz, Michael (Ashley) Bruinsma, and Austin (Mandy) Zandbergen; seven great-grandchildren Jeremy, Brianna, Jacob, Morgan, Kenzie, Madison, and Noah; brother, Gordon (Nelda Hornyak) Easton; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Winnie cherished her family and enjoyed spoiling them with home-baked treats and a special decorated egg each Christmas. She was a very talented woman as a great seamstress, cook, egg artist, and a loving caregiver for her husband Norm. She owned Kristy-Lou Beauty Shop where she faithfully served her customers for over 40 years.

Visitation with the family will be held 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie, S.W., Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018, with visitation one hour prior to service, at South Grandville Christian Reformed Church, 4130 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery.
