

BLANCHE ANNE WARN Blanche Anne Warn, 93, long time resident of Green River, passed away on November 3, 2014 just 4 days short of her 94th birthday. She had been living in Grants Pass, Oregon since 1996 to be near her daughter moving there after the death of her husband Clarence Warn in June of 1990.
Blanche was born to Harvey and Deniege (Remily) Pommier on Nov.7, 1920 in Currie, Minn., and attended the Catholic school there. Blanche and Clarence were married July 16, 1938 and moved to Green River in 1942 where Clarence worked as a lineman on the U. P. Railroad. It was here that they raised their two children. Over the years Blanche had been employed several places in Green River, and also sold RNA Insurance where she was awarded for her sales achievements. She served her community in many organizations including Red Cross, Chamber of Commerce and Woman's Club receiving the woman of the year award in 1977 and the Diana Award in 1978. She was also a lifelong Catholic and member of the Altar Society.
After moving to Oregon she lived in the Riviera Mobile Court where she remained active in many activities and events there. She liked to cook, read, shop and spend time with her family, but above all she loved to play cards. The last 18 months she lived with her daughter and son-in-law due to declining health.
Blanche was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, her parents, 2 half sisters and 1 brother and 2 infant sisters. She is survived by her two children, Juleen (Lloyd) Logan of Grants Pass, Oregon and Glen (Karen) Warn II of North Bend, Wa., three grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Also her sisters Maxine Buyck of Tracy, Mn., Gleva Ommen of Rock Island, Ill., and Janice Hoyt of San Antonio, Tx., and one brother Bernal Pommier of Isle, Mn.
