Larry Rex Walker

Larry Rex Walker 67 of Grants Pass, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. Larry was born August 11, 1949 in Viborg, South Dakota He was the son of Kenneth and Bluebell Walker. Larry attended school in South Dakota graduating from high school in 1967. Following his graduation he enrolled in a Tech School for a Mechanic. In 1975 he relocated to the family farm in Parker South Dakota, where he worked for a number of years. He found his calling as a truck driver which he retired from after trucking for 25 years. Larry enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing and hunting. ROLLERCOASTERS, Most of all his Family & Friends Larry is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth & Bluebell , his wife Gloria (Chris), a brother, Ross and a sister, Marcene. And a Nephew Ross Bak He is survived by his daughters, Terresa Patterson and her husband, Jeff & Grand Children Dylin, Dallas, Nicole & Great Granddaughter Kadence of Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania Kristie Walker & Grandsons Jerel & Jordan of Colorado Springs, Colorado Wendy Neill and her husband, Will & Grandchildren Chelsea, Austin, Kyley and Great Granddaughter Emmalynn of Merlin, Oregon And one son, Jeremy Kappes & Grandchildren Breanna, Kristy, Chaddrick of Elko, Nevada. A sister in law, Ardis Walker of Sioux, South Dakota.
