May Carmen Foster

May Carmen Foster passed away on March 27, 2026, at the age of 96.May (Pomo) Foster, 96, of Eugene, Oregon, joined her family and friends in heaven on Friday March 27, 2026. A graveside service will be held at noon on Thursday, April 9 at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

May was born in Segundo, Colorado on May 27, 1929 to Nick and Bertha Pomo. She was one of five children. She was a twin to her sister (Marie) Do, sister Jo and two brothers Nick and Chuck.

She went to high school and spent the earlier part of her life in southern California. She married her husband, Jack Foster Sr., on June 25, 1955. May was a devoted wife to her husband who passed in January of 2002. They spent many of their 46 married years in Grants Pass, Oregon.     

May was a devout Catholic and enjoyed sewing, crafts, decorating for holidays, and feeding all of her family and friends with her amazing Italian cooking and baking. She also had quite the green thumb and loved her beautiful garden of roses, snowballs, and other seasonal flowers.

May loved her family and is survived by her two children, Jack Foster Jr. and Jane (Foster) Caven, her son-in-law Doug, daughter-in-law Debbie, four grandchildren, Angelia, Brian, Sarah, Melissa and their partners, and her six precious great grandchildren, Bella, Tony, Courtney, Cayden, Bailey, and Brooklyn.
