

She was born on January 29, 1934 in Shawnee, OK to Charles and Vida Aloway. She was one of 8 brothers and sisters who she adored and maintained wonderful relationships with throughout their lives.
In 1952 she married the love of her life, James Roger Kemp. Jo was a lifelong Homemaker who doted on her husband and children. She was an active participant in Scouting and could always be found in the stands cheering at the kid's sporting events. She had a lifelong love of the outdoors. Camping, fishing and being at the beach brought her joy. She was a devoted fan of Texas Rangers baseball. She was an active member of her church and was a member of several women's organizations. She always had a kind word for everyone who crossed her path. She was always ready with a smile and a joke but it was her family that brought her her greatest joy.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy, son Glen and beloved sisters Betty Cato and Charlene Means.
She is survived by daughter Robin Biles and husband Chris of Grand Prairie, TX, son Gary Kemp and wife Rhonda of San Antonio, TX and son, Richard Kemp and daughter- in- law Kelly of Moody, TX. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Her optimism and caring way will be missed by all who knew her.
