Elaine Jeanne Lang

Elaine Jeanne Lang 93, of Bedford, Texas, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7620 Baker Blvd, Richland Hills with Pastor Kyle Rouze officiating. Elaine Jeanne Miller was born April 25, 1931 in Highland Park, Illinois, the daughter of Maurice and Hazel (Kaehler) Miller. She attended Deerfield, IL, schools. Elaine was united in marriage to Eugene C. Lang December 11, 1948 in Northbrook, Illinois. From this union five children were born. Elaine and her family moved to Hurst, Texas in 1952. Elaine went to work for the Denny’s Restaurant Corporation for 27 years until her retirement. Elaine loved the Chicago Cubs, the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Mavericks, Chic-fil-a and their Peppermint Shake. Her greatest love was attending Ranger baseball games. She was a season ticket holder for 23 years. Elaine was an excellent bowler in her earlier years and considered going professional but chose raising her family first. She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church for more than 71 years, and a member of the Texas Ranger Women’s Club for 32 years. Elaine is survived by her children Art (Linda) Lang, of Crawfordsville, IN, Jerry (Karla) Lang of Palestine, TX, Lugene (Fred) Ginapp of East Tawakoni, TX, and Nancie (Billy) Blair, of Muldoon, TX. Elaine had 8 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great - Grandchildren; brother- in-law Duane Lang of Marshalltown, IA, along with several nieces, nephews and friends. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Hazel Miller, sisters Mary Bieniasz and Connie Campbell, son Eugene Lang, Jr., and grandson Keith Malone.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial be made to Calvary Lutheran Church, 7620 Baker Blvd, Richland Hills, Texas 76118, in memory of Elaine Lang.
