Mrs. Elizabeth Nadine Harris

Elizabeth was born in McKinney, TX on October 26, 1940 and was a life-long resident of the Dallas area. In 2006, she retired from a long career with Horizon Lines Ocean Freight and maintained many loving relationships with her former co-workers. Elizabeth was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who was forever showering love and support on all of her family and friends. In her retirement years, she enjoyed traveling, the Dallas Cowboys and caring for her adored dogs, Freeway and Bennie.

Elizabeth was known to all as a steadfast friend and confidant who showed genuine love, compassion and support to all who knew her. Her sense of humor, style and grace will be deeply missed by all.

Elizabeth was preceded in her death by her husband, Samuel Harris, mother, Lillian Lay and her beloved son, Ronny Harris. She is survived by her son, Michael Harris and wife, Evon of Grapevine, Texas; her grandchildren, Haley Harris of Farmers Branch, Texas; Travis Harris of Grapevine, Texas; Madison Harris of Springtown, Texas; great-grandchildren; Cole Jordan and Lucy Harris; and her cherished friend, Cecil Barnes.
