Esperanza Lopez

Esperanza Lanio Lopez , age 87, was born in Cuba to the late Luis and Belarmina Lanio. She was the youngest of five children. She came to Florida in 1960 and moved to Texas in 1984. She married Juan Manuel Lopez and had three children of her own, Laura, Beatriz and Juan Carlos.

Esperanza was a kind and loving soul. Her family always came first. She was a loving wife and an outstanding mother. She enjoyed spending time with her three grandchildren, Isabella, Valentina and Santiago. She was always willing to help others, share a kind word, and had a good sense of humor.

She enjoyed spending time at home, was a great cook and enjoyed watching old movies. She also loved her grand dogs !

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband Juan Manuel Lopez, and beloved daughter Dr. Beatriz Lopez. She is survived by her loving daughter Laura Lopez of Colleyville, TX and son and daughter in law Juan Carlos and Ana Lopez, grandchildren Isabella, Valentina and Santiago Lopez all of Canton, Georgia. Her niece Teresina and husband Carlos Alonso of Bedford, TX. Her nieces Maricarmen Gomez and Lourdes Lanio of San Juan, Puerto Rico. She will be missed by dear friends Leesa McElroy and Maryann Lind. May you rest in peace.
