Evan Matthew Leyman

Evan Matthew Leyman of Flower Mound, Texas passed away tragically in an ATV accident on January 1, 2026. He was 18 years old. Born in Grapevine, Texas, he was the son of Matthew Eric Leyman and Pamela Jo Leyman.

Evan had just completed his first semester at College Station, where he was majoring in Construction Science and a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity. Evan loved sports, playing his guitar, listening to music, golfing, hunting, fishing, family vacations, spending time at the lake with family and friends, and anything else outdoors. Evan’s favorite sports were basketball and baseball. He was a shooting guard on the Flower Mound High School Varsity Basketball team.

Evan is best known for the joy and brightness with which he lived his life to the fullest and the positive impact he had on so many others in such a short time.

Evan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judy Norris Drager.

In addition to his loving parents, Matt and Pam Leyman, he is survived by his brothers, Corbin and Drew; grandparents, Michael Leyman, Michael and Kellie Dixon, Susan Noel and Tony Lucus; his aunts and uncles Angie Adame, Michelle Smith, Michael Noel, Blair Bassler, Dakota Noel, and Steve Bassler; and his cousins Alex Adame, Isabella Adame, Dawson and Stevie Lee Noel, and Bruin Bassler.
