Harold John Heitz passed away on June 8,2021 surrounded by his loved ones at his home in Grapevine Texas.

Harold was born on September 1,1931 in St. Louis, Missouri to Sadie and Phillip Heitz. Hal was a veteran of the Korean War, serving honorably in Biloxi, Mississippi. Hal followed his time in the Air Force with 30 years with IBM Corporation where he was recognized for many business achievements including time spent with the Dallas mayor’s office implementing a program enhancing business, social and personal opportunities for disabled people. After retiring, Hal went on to establish himself as a premier contractor building upscale homes in the DFW and Grandbury areas. Hal was married to his high school sweetheart, Patsy Joyce Ryan, for 69 years and together raised 4 children, Steve, Deni, John and Mark. Hal and Pat were further blessed with 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Harold always remained close to his St.Louis family and is survived by his brother Phillip, cousin Jerry, sister-in-law Peggy Jones and brother-in-law Frank Ryan along with all of their children and grandchildren. Hal lived almost 90 years, living and loving fiercely each and every day. As patriarch of his family he will be missed but most importantly will be remembered by all and for all time. His greatest source of pride and joy was his family. Always and forever.❤️
