James Seymour

James Carl Seymour, 82, of Hurst Texas, passed away on 11/13/2017. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday 11/17/2017 at J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home in Grapevine TX. Jim Bower of The Clergy and Police Alliance Program C.A.P.A. will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 6;00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday 11/16/2017 at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home in Grapevine, Tx. Burial will be at DFW National Cemetery on Tuesday, November 21st at 11AM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home. Jim was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma on 7/28/1935. He graduated from Russell High school and continued on to Wichita State and then finishing his degree at TCU. Jim was married to Tye Seymour in September 1964; they were married 47 years. Jim worked as an Engineer at Bell Helicopter for 30 years. He enjoyed anything to do with computers, helicopters, and loved anything to do with history. He was also actively involved in coaching his children in various sports and will always be known as Coach Seymour. He loved to laugh, crack jokes, and captured the attention of the room by demonstrating love of life and laughter. He spent his days providing for his family , loving his wife and children, and later his grandchildren. He loved the holidays and the time his family spent together during this time of year. Jim loved all his children and grandchildren and was very proud of them. Jim is survived by his sons, Jeff and Richard, and daughter Michelle. Grandchildren: Jarrod, Tayler, Makenna, Gabbie, Riley and Great grandchild Dalek his brother Bill Seymour and other family and friends. Jim is preceded in death by His wife Tye Seymour, father Carl Seymour and mother Lillian Seymour.
