JD is also survived by 15 grandchildren who truly loved him and miss him immensely.
He was preceded in death by his dearly loved grandmother, Edith Barner; stepfather, Jack Kastl; father, Jerome Wood.
JD was employed by the City of Duncanville for many, many years. He wore a multitude of hats during his tenure with the city and would eventually retire from the city’s Police Department. JD then spent some years after as a security consultant and private investigator.
In recent years, JD served as National President of the Native Sons Motorcycle Club for North America. His loss is deeply felt among the members around the world, his extended family and cherished friends.
At this time, the family has chosen to hold private services and truly appreciate the outpour of support. The love, prayers, memories, meals, cards and donations have helped tremendously. We know that our son, husband, father, stepfather and grandfather meant so much to so many and we have been carried by that support.
A benefit for his wife, Tara, will take place on Thursday, July 7th at 7PM at The Pour Shack in Keller, Texas (250 S. Main St., Keller). All are welcome.
A rosary for Jeffrey (JD) will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. Mary the Virgin Catholic Church, 1408 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, TX 76012.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to assist in the final arrangements, burial and support of his wife and family. http://gofund.me/0310aa36
