Landon Jason Eaton of Flower Mound was born on June 10, 2010 in Bedford, TX to his parents Jason Eaton and Jennifer Cline, and his older brother Austin. Landon was an active baby and loved Caillou, bubbles, and snuggling with the ones he loved. As a toddler Landon fell in love with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, loved playing with his cousins, and most of all eating everything he could get his hands on. All of Landon’s family enjoyed his presence and the way he brightened each day. Landon was an angel that radiated love, joy, and laughter everywhere he went.
Landon began his education at the Early Childhood Development Center with Mrs. Brewer in Grapevine, TX where he began his journey making new friends and melting the hearts of teachers and staff. Landon attended Bell Manor Elementary school in HEBISD for two years with Mrs. Thompson, before beginning Kindergarten.
In 2015 Landon started Kindergarten at Garden Ridge Elementary in LISD where he made new friends and met his teachers Miss Laura, Miss Peggy and Miss Janine. Each day Landon rode to school with the best bus driver in Texas, Mr. William and Mr. James. Mr. James always made sure he stayed out of trouble, even if Landon wore an OU or Pittsburgh Steelers shirt. Nurse Sheila was always there to make sure Landon was feeling his best and had infinite patience when Landon did not want to take his medicine. At school Landon made a host of new friends and learned many fun activities, such as art, music, and PE where he loved to ride his tricycle. Landon loved his classmates and his buddies from Circle of Friends that visited throughout the week. Landon continued to win over the staff at Garden Ridge with his big smile and warm heart. Even the cafeteria staff knew to set aside his favorite breakfast items to brighten his day. More than anything Landon knew his teachers loved and cared for him unconditionally.
In April of 2017, Landon’s dream to meet Mickey Mouse in person was granted by Make-A-Wish of North Texas. Landon received first-class treatment to Give Kids the World in Orlando, Florida. He spent a week making a lifetime of memories at Disney World and Universal Studios.
Landon passed away October 27, 2018 surrounded by his family. Cherishing his memory are father Jason Eaton and wife Amanda and mother Jennifer Dunnewin and husband Bryan, paternal grandparents Ron Eaton and Linda Eaton-Stephens, maternal grandparents Larry and Terri Dunnewin, uncle Ronnie Eaton and wife Aunt Analisa and cousins Carli and Gabby; and numerous extended family and friends.
Landon was preceded in death by his brother Austin and paternal great-grandparents.
