Mom (Peggy Sue) was born & grew up in the DFW area, or other outlying towns.. She was the daughter of Roy & Pauline Moore, and the sister of Tommy. She was a curious & adventurous kid: riding horses, attempting to ride a bull at Pop’s Ranch, saving animals, climbing just about anything, and growing up much faster than expected. She married (Dad) Bill Cline, from Alabama, at 15 years old, and had their daughter Becky before she turned 16. She & Bill continued their adventures through-out their life of 61 years together, working hard during the week (sometimes multiple jobs), and pursuing exciting hobbies on the weekends or every chance they got. Peggy raced motor cross winning trophies taller than her, rode with their motorcycle group alongside Bill, they ran their own chopper business in the 70’s, and travelled the racing circuits for years. (Flat track was their favorite.) They owned several boats over their years, taking them down the river to the coast in the summers, where we vacationed every other weekend all summer long. They embarked on their biggest adventure when Becky was in high school, and they built a 40 ft. sailboat from a custom-made bare hull, and when Becky finished college, they sold everything and sailed away, seeking new adventures. Dad captained the boat, and Mom was the deckhand working all the sails, anchors, & ropes. They worked odd jobs along the way, while continuing their adventure for almost 10 years. Bill developed some health issues, which caused them to settle back in Mobile for a while, and then move back to the Dallas area, settling in Becky’s Coppell house. This became home for the rest of their lives, while Mom worked for a manufacturing company in Grapevine as a bookkeeper & Dad worked in aviation. Later Peggy went to work at North Lake College in Irving, and loved her accounting job there, making many friends, growing a retirement, and encouraging the students every chance she got. Peggy never met a stranger, made life-long friends everywhere she went, loved all animals, and rescued anyone in need of help. She had an amazing sense of humor, always had a smile, saw the good in everyone, and loved with all her heart. She never loved anyone more than her granddaughter, Megan, who she helped Becky raise, attending Meg’s games, celebrations, milestones, and spent almost every Wednesday together until Megan could drive. Peggy was a unique individual, always ahead of her time, with a flashy style, a big heart, adventurous spirit, and love to share with everyone. She will be missed by all of us!
