Sharon "Shari" Dietz Edwards

Sharon Dietz Edwards of Granbury, Texas, age 80, passed away on March 19, 2025. She was born on October 23, 1944, to Donald and Gladys Wright. Shari was a kind and gentle spirit, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Shari worked for many years as a bookkeeper. She proudly worked for William Rigg Realtors for more than 30 years. She then finished her career at Coldwell Banker Real Estate before retiring. After retirement, Shari and Bill enjoyed traveling extensively for a time before moving to Granbury.

Shari loved all things creative. She was a very talented painter, creating many beautiful pieces in oil painting, watercolor and sketching. She also enjoyed sewing and making jewelry. Shari also had an eye for interior design, always creating a beautiful and peaceful home. Everyone who knew Shari knew of her love for cats; she had many sweet cats over the years that she cherished.

She is survived by husband William "Bill" Edwards; children Kirsten Thurston and husband Rick, Charles Edwards and wife Debbie, Fred Edwards and wife Crystal; grandchildren Nicholas Thurston and wife Alyssa, Natalie Thurston, Nealy Thurston, Noah Thurston, Noelle Thurston, Nicole Thurston, Justin Edwards and wife Stephanie, Jordan Edwards and wife Teresa, Christopher Edwards, Collin Edwards and wife Mikale; and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Larry Wright and wife Jan; 4 nieces and 1 nephew. Shari will also be greatly missed by her friend of many years, Elizabeth Crozier.

Sharon was preceded in death by husband Richard Dietz, daughter Andrea Dietz, and brother Mervyn Wright.
