

Sherrye Lou Faylor or lately better known as "GG" was born January 14, 1947 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Lou Roy and Reva Jean Faylor. She has 3 sister's Linda Northrup, Carol Zuniga and Katy LaBlue. She has lived in Oklahoma, Colorado, California, before settling down in the Great State of Texas. Sherrye is survived by her 3 sons; Scott Pritchett and his wife Mary, Michael Pritchett and his husband Jim, and Craig Pritchett, 4 Grandchildren; Breanne Stout and her husband Seth, Dustin Pritchett and his girlfriend Taylor, Derek Pritchett and his wife Deborah, and Erin Van Zandt, 6 Great Grand Daughters; Aria, Quinn, Penelope(Penny), Josephine(Jojo), Skylar and Ember, and her 2 sister's, Linda and Carol. She is proceeded in death by her husband Jon and her sister Katy.
Sherrye worked as a waitress while raising her 3 sons; then in 1997 became a business owner with her husband, Jon Snead and opened up Big Daddy's Ship Store on Lake Grapevine, Texas. Where they built a thriving business doing what they both loved, Jon "Big Daddy" cooking and Sherrye "Lil Mama" baking and bossing people around.
Sherrye enjoyed her retirement days by spoiling her great granddaughters and of course her first grand daughter. Sherrye had a wonderful full life with family and many friends.
***** Family has decided in Honor of our mother we will NOT dress in your traditional funeral dress (Black). We will wear something casual that our mom would like, Casual lake attire, she loved her Muumuu Lounger Dresses. But, feel free to wear what you want and makes you comfortable .*****
The funeral will be held Thursday, June 9th 2022 at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors 523 S Main St, Grapevine, TX 76051 starting with the viewing at 10am and service 11am. There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate Sherrye at 2 pm and Big Daddy's Ship Store, 2500 Oak Grove Loop S, Grapevine, TX 76051.
