Sarah Ann Rearden Matteucci

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at O'Connor Funeral Home. Her funeral is 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

A reception will be held at the church hall after the burial.

Sarah, the daughter of Dennis Rearden of Eden, graduated in 1936 from St. Mary's High School. She married Joseph Matteucci in October 1938.

She was head chef at the St. Thomas Orphanage for many years. She was devoted to the church and spent many hours working for numerous Catholic groups around the city.

She had been a resident of Missouri River Manor for the past four years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; and her daughter, Mary Lou Lovcheck of Wichita, Kan.

She is survived by a daughter, Jo Ann Yuhas of Eden Route; sons, Ron Matteucci of St. George, Utah, and Jim Matteucci of Missoula, Mont.; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was devoted to her children and took great pride in all of the grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's activities and accomplishments.
