Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at O'Connor Funeral Home. Her funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Great Falls, with burial in Highland Cemetery.
Voncile passed away at the family farm, surrounded by her daughters and close family friends.
She is survived by four daughters, Anna Tope of Eureka, Linda Tope of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Sarah Robertson and Colleen (Keith) Lippert of Carter; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill in 1992.
Voncile was born Feb. 22, 1930, and was the only child of T.E. "Pete" and Anna L. Hudelson. Upon the death of her mother in 1934, Voncile was cared for by a loving neighbor, Virginia Laubach. She was very involved in many activities during her high school years. She very much enjoyed music, art, acting and attending local dances.
On June 10, 1952, she married Bill Robertson and thus began her life as a farm wife and mother. Family and friends will always remember her as someone who was only a phone call away and that call might last for hours. She always enjoyed being a hostess for baby showers and birthdays, and as a young mother was very active in various community events.
Memorials are suggested to Carter Methodist Church; McLaughlin Research Center or the donor's choice.
