Anna Zuckerman

Anna R. Zuckerman, 96 years old, from Great Neck, NY died peacefully from COVID on December 14, 2021 at North Shore Hospital after a brief stay. She is predeceased by her husband, Leonard M. Zuckerman, her sister Frances Stertz also of Great Neck, NY and her youngest daughter, Carol Zuckerman of Davie, FL. She is survived by her oldest daughter Marcia and her husband Jonathan Feuer of Richmond, MA. and her son and his wife, Charles and Naomi Zuckerman of Elmira, NY. Anna was an artist who produced a wealth of abstract paintings which adorn her family’s walls, and was delighted to sell paintings through her local art gallery. Through her life she also created jewelry and knitted unique sweaters and scarves as well as crocheting blankets for veterans and seniors.

Anna loved cards and was a great bridge player. She also played mahjong and canasta and Rummikub with her friends and neighbors. Her final years were spent at The Atria on Cuttermill Road in Great Neck where she continued many of her passions. Anna was a strong supporter of her family and was particularly proud of her 6 grandchildren; Lauren Kamin, Ethan Feuer, Molly Zuckerman, Daniel Zuckerman, Julia Zuckerman and Lacey Zuckerman. She enjoyed spending time with her 4 great grandchildren; Alice and Leo Kamin and Dane and Shepard Feuer as well as her nieces and nephews and their children. Anna was a singular personality and will be forever loved and missed by all.

Funeral arrangements will be private at the family's request. Donations may be made to B'nai Brith in lieu of flowers.
