ROSENZWEIG, Beverly (known to all as Bobbie), 95, of Great Neck passed away on Friday May 5, having lived a long, full and joyous life. Born in New York City in 1927, she was a long-time congregant of Temple Beth-El and an advocate of community outreach programs on Long Island, with a special emphasis on inter-faith religious understanding. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Irving. She leaves behind her sons, Paul Rosenzweig and James Rosenzweig, their wives Katy and Risa, grandchildren, Jordana, Olivia and Dustin Rosenzweig, and many step grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly. An early graduate of Cornell, she will be remembered as one of the generation of women who pioneered access to educational and economic opportunities. Bobbie believed that life should be fun and lived with gusto among her friends and family.
