Sad to hear of the passing. (we all are at his former place of Employment)  David was a Coworker of mine briefly in NYC in which I looked forward to his daily visits to my desk to chit chat about our similar upbringing of the Jewish faith and so much more. 

We also engaged in conversations outside work at company outings but mostly right outside the door of our work building. To describe him thoroughly in full detail would take a lifetime because we divulged all of our personal issues from relationships to Technology.

David treated me on occasion to a delightful lunch more than once at a nearby eatery and I always thought of him with returning the generosity or  the same by sharing my home cooking , produce from my garden  or treats from a sweets shop.  He LOVED LOVED LOVED  indulging in powered Cocoa from the local French Chocalate shop on Hudson Street at Jaque Torres  or the “Cheap Stuff” from our own machine here at the office.
David to me was fascinating as I was to him as well. We both tried to understand each others career paths , theories and oddball beliefs of the human race  which kept the conversation going for more than a year during our knowing each other. 

You see, he was on the programing end and I was on the Support end or the complete polar opposite of the Technology spectrum. He spoke fluent French and Spanish and I spoke fluent gibberish and for this we got along in a strange way( a lot of shenanigans . 

Remembering David 


Forever I'll be reminded of him, his unique personality and friendship. One of my fondest memories that come to mind first are the impression he made on my five year old Son . 

One morning I drove into work and was trying to find a parking spot outside at a meter  NYC (near impossible ) and David noticed I was struggling with Marco (Terrible Five's).

 David offered to take Marco upstairs and his friendly approach soothed Marco instantly who was cranky and impatient having just had a meltdown in the car  . I'm happy to say I gave David a chance that day in which his stepping in to help a fellow Coworker and friend is forever part of our memory “A  visit to Daddy's work with his silly friend David” –Now an honorable Uncle in my eyes

While at work that day ,David shared his knowledge of children's television show "The Wiggles" which sparked an immediate friendship with he and my Son. Marco would often asked me about David's status and whereabouts'. Still to this day , heck  (Even last week), my now 7 year old Son Marco recites the parody version and (private laugh) they both shared/made up  by changing the words from that children's show (song called “Fruit Salad" ). The lyric on the chorus goes something like: Fruit Salad , Yummy Yummy . Their version added the word “Hot “ making it : Hot-Fruit Salad , Yummy Yummy . Silly and corny, yes, but so ridiculously funny (between the three of us). I'd always tell David whenever Marco recited it –Even long after him leaving our company (through a chat program) . I lost touch a few months later (about a year ago) .

 Hey David ‘btw –Two years later, after a ton of blood sweat and tears my Recording Studio is up and running . Thanks to your know- how we are benefiting from your resources ‘ I'm sure your enjoying your favorite Jam-bands and keeping the great ever changing system or Internet  in the sky still-a-ticking.
