Uncle Eddie always brought a smile to not only my face but my mother's my father's and anybody that had the privilege of having in contact with him. I will forever cherish our time together and the memories that we made.

Ed, We have so many great memories. You are like a father to me and a Great Neck Bruin for life. I am going to miss your Islander honks every morning but I will miss you even more, I never met a man as great as you and someone that helps and makes good to everyone they meet. I will keep your name going in the animal world as you are a huge Animal lover. This is a tough one for me and a big hole in the heart but so many great memories and Bruin championships. You will always be with me and I will always know where to find you. Your family is always in my prayers. I Love you all.
Your big smile will always make me happy. Thank You for all of your help and everything you do for me. If only the world had a million Ed Strems.

We are so sorry for your loss. Ed was a true gentleman and a good friend. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was very smart. Although we did not see each other often we feel a deep sense of loss.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the funeral in New York but Arlene will be there for our cuz and friend. It was just the other day that we broke bread with Lynn and Ed. He was a great guy. May he rest in peace.
