Felix Feldman

FELDMAN–Dr. Felix, beloved husband of the late Judith Milberg Feldman, died peacefully Thurs, May 17, 2012; born June 16, 1919 in Brooklyn. His research on the harmful effects of lead paint on children raised national awareness and resulted in the elimination of lead in house paint. His 55-year medical career includes Chief of Pediatrics/ President of the Medical Board, Coney Island Hospital and Chief of Pediatrics Hematology - Oncology, Maimonides Medical Center. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Eli & Carole Feldman; daughters Lenore Rosenberg of Port Washington and Susan Feldman of Brooklyn. His late son Paul died in 1985; grandchildren Emily and Mark Rothenberg, Michael, Jonathan and Audrey Rosenberg; great grandchildren Justin and Gavin.
