Leon Weinstein passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Loving and devoted husband to Barbara for 70 years. He is survived by his son, Kenneth & daughter-in-law Heidi; daughter Candee; and grandchildren, Adam and Cole. Leon graduated from Georgia Tech and went on to serve for the US Army overseas during World War II. He was the recipient of a Bronze Star. Leon's career in the Real Estate industry spanned over 60 years as the Founder and President of Greentree Developers, and Weinstein Medical Holdings until his passing. He loved swimming, socializing with his friends and especially spending time, playing golf with his grandchildren Adam & Cole. Leon served as a board member of Temple Emanuel. Friends and family members may attend the funeral service on Sunday, October 28 at 12:00 p.m. at Temple Emanuel, 150 Hicks Lane, Kings Point, New York, 11024.
