

Lillian Brown (nee Feierstein, then Schwartz and affectionately known as "The General"), 89, passed away on Dec 21, 2011 after a brief illness. Lillian was born on Sept. 17, 1922 in the Bronx, NY. She was always full of energy and had a tremendous zest for life. She was a wonderful woman who inspired us all, and everyone she met, with her amazing vitality. She was a devoted wife, terrific mother and sister, and fantastic grandmother. Survivors include daughters Barbara (David) and Judi (Bernard), son Sam (Lynn), brother Saul (Rita), step-children Lynne (Jacques) and Abbott, grandchildren Larry (Lyuba), Scott (Jamie), Alex, Molly and Marisa, step-grandchildren Rachel, Henry, Russell and David, and great grandchildren Juliet and Harrison.
