Adrian Gloria Esquibel

Adrian Gloria Esquibel, age 83, of Greeley, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. She was born on the family farm on July 7, 1941 in Kersey, Colorado to Lawrence and Gladys (Morales) Garcia. She was the eldest of 7 children, and graduated from Valley High School. In 1959, she married Jacob Esquibel, and they were together for 47 years before his passing in 2006. Adrian worked as a technician for Weld County Human Services, and retired after 30 years.

Adrian and Jacob raised their 3 children, and enjoyed taking them camping and fishing. She was always very active; serving as the vice president of the VFW, participating in the March of Dimes each year, and recently became more involved in politics.

Adrian was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her two youngest sisters.

She is survived by her children, David Esquibel (Dandi); Jeanette Hatch (James); and Lance Esquibel; siblings, Emmanuel "Tex" Garcia, Michael Garcia, Alice Derrera, and Joyce Korgan; as well as 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Adrian will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley, CO 80634. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 W 28th St, Greeley, CO.
