

Albert Ray Weber, 88 of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of La Salle, passed away March 25, 2017 at his home. Albert was born February 20, 1929 to Carl and Mary (Kindsfater) Weber of Severance, CO. He attended grade school north of Severance at Smith School and completed his later years of schooling in Windsor, CO. Growing up on a family farm in Severance, he developed his hard work ethic and loyalty to family and friends. Following his two-year service in the Army, he worked for Hensel Phelps in construction for two years and then returned to farming for many years.
In 1976, he retired from farming but continued to work in the outdoors for Eastman Kodak in Ground Maintenance for 15 years. He retired from Eastman Kodak in 1991 to start and run an irrigation and sprinkler business during the summer months and operate sugar beet loaders for Western Sugar and Aulick Leasing, until his health problems prohibited him from continuing this work in 2014.
Albert was an avid softball player as a child and young adult and later coached 4-H softball in adulthood. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, dancing, and traveling. He loved his family deeply and took great pride in his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Always very gracious and generous to others, Albert’s company and presence was enjoyed by many. He will be greatly missed for his infectious smile and teasing nature.
He is survived by his wife Lois Martin Weber of Mesa, AZ; his children, Steve Weber of Henderson, CO, Judith Allan of Portland, OR and Jill Weber of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Robert (Nina) Allan of Lake Oswego, OR, and Kathryn (Stephen) Paprocki of Denver, CO; and great grandchildren, Max and Brock Allan of Lake Oswego, OR and Olivia and Layla Paprocki of Denver, CO; stepchildren Laura Martin (Gerald Chew) of Portland, OR, Julie Martin of Gilbert, AZ, and Perry Martin of Hermiston, OR; step grandchildren Madeline Chew of Portland, OR and Olivia and Vanessa Martin of Gilbert, AZ; sister Alma Clark of Denver, CO and brother Marvin Weber of Colorado Springs, CO. He has numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond and Alvin, and sisters, Wilma and Virginia (Olsen), and his former wife, Mary (Bettger) Weber.
NOTE CHANGE OF TIME AND LOCATION!!! A Memorial Service will be held on May 19, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Allnutt Macy Chapel, 702 13th Street, Greeley, CO.
