

Alberto “Beto” Ruiz, Jr., 33, of Greeley passed away, April 25, 2017. He was born June 6, 1983 in San Pedro, California to Alberto Sr. and Rosario Ruiz. Alberto was raised in El Paso, Texas and graduated in 2001 from San Elizario High School in San Elizario, Texas. After graduation he moved to Colorado Springs, where he worked in customer service for a telemarketing company. In 2005 he moved to Evans, where he worked for Estes Valley Asphalt with is cousin Mario, and was currently the General Manager.
Alberto married Alexis Bruno on August 14, 2010 in Greeley, Colorado.
He enjoyed playing video games, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. He was an avid Oakland Raiders fan. Alberto was always positive and had a wonderful sense of humor. He would light up a room when he came in, and always had a way of making people smile. He was a very loyal and a friend to everyone in his life, and helped anyone in need. Alberto was very dedicated to his family and lived his life to do anything needed for all of them.
Alberto is survived by his wife Alexis; daughter Khloe Ruiz; son Jakob Ruiz; parents Alberto Sr. and Rosario Ruiz of El Paso, Texas; mother-in-law Irene Mendez of Greeley; a sister Nora Luz Ruiz of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother Arturo (Lilia) Ruiz of Colorado Springs.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
